A static site’s Logs tab shows its access logs: one line for every request Cloudflare’s edge served for the site, colored by its HTTP status code. Build output isn’t here: each deployment’s build log is on its own page, see Follow a deployment.

Open the logs

1

Open the site

In the sidebar, click Static sites, then click the site.
2

Open the Logs tab

Click the Logs tab. New requests appear at the bottom as they’re served.
Click a line to see all its attributes, such as the client’s IP address, country and device type, the request method, path and user agent, and the status code. Press Esc to hide them.

Search and filter

  • Search logs… finds lines that contain the text you type, across the whole time range.
  • Filters, on the left, filter by a line’s attributes: enter a Key, choose a condition (equals, does not equal, contains, does not contain, starts with, does not start with, ends with, does not end with, greater than or equals, less than or equals) and a Value, then click Run query. A key is id, message, severity, or a key under attributes. or tags.: for example, attributes.edgeResponseStatus equals 404 keeps the requests for missing pages, and attributes.clientRequestPath starts with /blog/ keeps one section. The key field suggests the attributes it has seen in the lines.
The search, filters and time range are kept in the page’s URL, so you can share a filtered view.

Choose a time range

Click the time range to choose Last 1 hour, Last 6 hours, Last 12 hours, Last 1 day, Last 2 days, Last 4 days, Last 7 days, Last 14 days or Last 30 days, or set a custom start and end. Custom ranges can start up to 60 days back. The Status codes chart above the lines shows the responses over the range; drag across it to zoom into a shorter range.

Follow new requests

While the range ends now, the logs tail live: click Pause to stop new lines and Resume to continue. When you’ve scrolled up, Jump to latest shows how many new lines arrived. A range that ended in the past shows History instead, and doesn’t tail.

Copy and download logs

The menu next to the time range has:
  • Refresh: load the range again.
  • Copy all lines: copy the loaded lines’ messages.
  • Download as JSON and Download as CSV: download every line of the range that matches the search and filters.
  • Keyboard shortcuts: list the shortcuts.

Display options

Turn on Wrap to wrap long lines, and UTC to show times in UTC instead of your time zone; the dashboard remembers both in your browser. Full width gives the logs the whole window.
